Markerland Park: Big City USA

This is the "Main Street" of the park where guests enter. It recreates a big American city in the 1930s, taking inspiration from places like New York and Chicago. It is actually not one street, but two of them heading up to the hub.

When guests enter the park, they see a big train station on the hill. Going under it, they enter into a town square, complete with a small park and several things to see. On the right is the City Hall, where guests can find help and services, as well as the Firehouse, where guests can sign up for a park-wide interactive game called Defenders of Markerland. On the left is the Opera House, where guests can watch a Broadway-style show called Kit the Goose and the Magic Book. Guests can also access the train station behind them and board the Markerland Railroad, which departs to Pioneerland.
If guests go down the street to the right, they will find Diane's Bakery, John and Matt's Joke Shop, and Melvin and Sons Department Store on the right, the last of which is the park's biggest gift shop. On the street to the left, they will find Charlie's Pet Emporium, Krystin's Deli, Mike's World Travel Shop, and David's Outifitters. Sandwiched between these two streets are the restaurants Mason's American Restaurant and Karla's Kitchen, as well as the gift shop Brian's Photography. The first restaurant mentioned is a fancy sit-down restaurant with rooms themed to the different areas of the park.
At the end of the streets, they will merge to go over a bridge to the hub. It is a beautiful garden area with a central lagoon, where fountains play throughout the day. Going through the city are Big City Vehicles like an automobile, a pickup truck, and a firetruck, which also go down to the hub. Going clockwise around the lagoon, guests will find bridges to Pioneerland, Mysteryland, Storybookland, Visionland, and Cosmicland. In front of the bridge to Storybookland is a stage where live shows play, as well as a small park with a golden statue of Mason G. Marker and a gosling on his shoulder, sitting on a bench.
