Markersea Park: Oceanland
Recreating a New England boardwalk amusement park in the early 1900s, this is a family area themed to sea creatures. Here, several kiddie rides are found, as well as original characters that are inspired by marine life.
Located near the border of the land is an old Cape Cod-esque area that transits people from the west coast of California to the east coast of New England. Here, they see a lighthouse as well as the Sailaway Snacks and Cape Cod Cafe restaurant, not to mention, the Massachusetts Bay Souvenirs gift shop. There is even a lighthouse nearby where guests can go inside and watch the interactive show, Manatee Encounter. This is another Turtle Talk-style show where guests interact with a manatee named Lou.Guests then cross over a bridge into the boardwalk park itself. A giant, fake roller coaster is in the background, but there are several real rides here. The first ones are found on the left with the Stingray Family Shuffle and the Flying Dolphins. On the right is the Boardwalk Bay Boutique gift shop. Continuing down, guests will find more attractions, going past the Seaboard Candy Palace to do so. Nearby, they will find the Sea Lion Carousel and Mr. Bubbles' Balloon Race. On the right, they may even spot a Ferris wheel called Furtail's Sun Wheel, which offers great views of the area. As the boardwalk turns right, guests will see a building resembling the former Saltair building in Utah, home to a dark ride called Belu and Fluffy's Grand Adventure. Similar to "It's a Small World," guests board boats and join belugas Belu and Fluffy as they travel across the ocean to rescue their uncle Jeffrey from an aquarium that has abducted him and taken him to Florida. The ride exits into the Sea Store by the Seashore. Going further to the right is Torpedo's Topredoes, a ride similar to the Golden Zephyr at Disney's California Adventure, as well as the Bayside Bites restaurant. At the end of the pier near a bridge to the Mystic Bazaar is a large building where the land's key attraction, The Ocean Games, is housed. Similar to Toy Story Midway Mania, this is a 3D shooter ride where guests play ocean-themed boardwalk games. It features six games: "Daddy Ray's Bubble Balloon Pop," "Sisey's Tropical Paint Palooza," "Tusks and Flake's Arctic Skeeball," "George the Otter's River Ring Ruckus," "Smore the Penguin's Antarctica Egg Throw," and "Tsunami's Mediterranean Carnival Shooting Gallery." The ride exits into the Step Right Up gift shop.
